First Choice Management Group took over management of The Phoenix, formerly The Embers, under new ownership on May 13, 2016. The Phoenix is one of many properties run by FCMG currently undergoing a comprehensive renovation and rebranding. The property is a 208-unit, 192,368 square foot, Class C garden-style apartment complex constructed in 1975. Its distressed state calls for improvements that consist of upgrades to the exterior, along with amenity and unit interior upgrades. With the allotted renovation budget and plans, FCMG has been overseeing all construction, while maintaining and running a safe and efficient property.
In further detail, the vast plans for exterior repairs include parking lot and walkway improvements, recladding of exterior siding and gutter replacement, exterior paint, roof replacement, landscaping installation, solar screen replacement, signage installation, leasing center and clubhouse improvements, and an addition of a pavilion and a dog park. Unit interiors will be upgraded, as well, and will include updated lighting packages, upgraded flooring, a new paint scheme and resurfaced cabinets and countertops. FCMG looks forward to playing an integral role in this rehab, and to seeing the finished product.
